A century of craft. A continent of service.

Anfora has spent 100 years learning what it takes to make tableware that performs in professional kitchens. We've built our company around that knowledge — and the people, technology, craftsmanship, and supply chain behind it.

Anfora History

WHERE IT BEGAN

Founded in Mexico in the early 20th century, Anfora was built on a single conviction: that dinnerware made for professional service should be engineered for it from the start. A century later, that idea still drives everything we make. We've grown from a regional manufacturer into one of the leading suppliers of vitrified porcelain dinnerware across the Americas — but the discipline behind every piece hasn't changed.

Anfora History

WHERE WE MAKE IT

Anfora is manufactured in Pachuca, Hidalgo, where Mexican craftsmanship meets German ceramic engineering. Our facility houses some of the most advanced ceramic processes available, operated by a deeply skilled production team that has accumulated decades of practice in vitrified porcelain. Every piece is shaped, fired, and finished in the same place. No outsourcing. No quality drift between factories.

 A NORTH AMERICAN SUPPLY CHAIN

Anfora is a North American manufacturer in every operational sense. Our kilns are fueled in part by Texas natural gas. Our machinery comes from German engineering partnerships built over decades. Our raw materials are sourced regionally wherever possible. And every shipment to our U.S. customers moves by ground freight — across a border, not across an ocean.

For distributors and operators who have lived through container shortages, port congestion, and unpredictable lead times from overseas suppliers, that matters. A continental supply chain isn't a marketing claim — it's a structural advantage that shows up in every order.

WHAT WE MAKE

Vitrified porcelain, fired at more than 1,280°C (2,336°F), with reinforced rims, a triple-polished foot, and a fully non-porous body. Lead- and cadmium-free, engineered for thermal shock, and built to withstand industrial dishwashing without losing its finish. Our portfolio spans heritage hand-painted pieces, contemporary architectural forms, and sustainability-driven collections developed from recovered materials. Every line is built to the same technical standard.

INVESTING IN THE U.S.

We've served U.S. operators for over 22 years, and we're now investing directly in the infrastructure to serve them better, closer, faster. Our partnership with Drinique brings stocked inventory to a Phoenix-based hub launching in summer 2026 — adding U.S.-side warehousing to a supply chain already grounded in continental logistics. Combined with our growing network of independent sales representatives and active distribution partner expansion, the goal is straightforward: to give U.S. distributors and operators the lead times, availability, and responsiveness their businesses need.

WHO WE SERVE

From independent restaurants to international hotel groups, Anfora supports operators who demand consistency in performance and clarity in presentation. Our customers include national chains, independent chefs, hospitality groups, distributors, and design specifiers across North America, Japan, Europe and Latin America.
